Linda Lutz

I am Sister Linda Lutz CHS, a member of the Community of the Holy Spirit.

I moved into the area of St. John the Evangelist Parish in 1993. I have worked in Catholic Schools as a teacher and a principal. I ministered for 12 years with Catholic Charities Rachel Programs services for homeless women. Being with the students and families in schools was a joy but I also treasured my time with the women I met in the Rachel Programs whose lives are so very challenged. Currently I’m back in a school setting working as a school secretary at

St. Kieran Catholic School in El Cajon.

This ministry has many different kinds of opportunities to serve. I choose to be a member of St. John the Evangelist Parish because I love the diversity and the deep faith of the people who worship here.

I treasure the welcoming spirit that

St. John the Evangelist opens its door to all.

Tayde Randall

I started attending St. John's as a child when our family moved to the neighborhood. My husband and I were married at St. John's and we have two sons and two grandsons. Our family has received many of our sacraments here at the church. I am a retired high school teacher and continue living in the neighborhood. Over the years I have participated in several ministries including the prayer group, parish council, stewardship council, and Restoring Citizens. I have seen many changes in the Catholic Church and here at St. John's. I believe our church will continue to evolve and grow.
