First Holy Communion

First Communion is a two year program. The first year, your child will learn about Christ through story telling, activities, and learning how to use a children’s bible. The Second year, your child will begin to prepare in depth what the sacrament of reconciliation is. Your child will then receive the sacrament of Reconciliation in January 2020. At this time, your child will then prepare to understand the gift of the Eucharist and receive First Holy Communion in May 2020. Official dates TBA. If your child is not yet baptized and is of an age to receive Eucharist he or she will follow the RCIA program, adapted for children.

We strive to welcome and accommodate every family dynamic, this includes single parents, same sex parents, military families, migrant families, immigrants, and children with disability. No Child will be turned away for any reason. We have our texts in English and Spanish, as well as adaptive learning materials for those needing additional resources to learn.

Classes begin September 2019 through May 2020
